Walking the weather
club for mental health
Walking the weather is a community project where body, weather and togetherness meet. By simply moving through space and time together, we hope to break the stigma of isolation that comes with mental health issues and find a place of beloning in this more-than-human world.
Walking is as much an art form as it is a performance and a practice - and it has been proven to support people’s mental and physical health.
And the best part is ~ walking is free! And the outdoors are ever changing.

Walking the weather takes inspiration from ‘The Proper Blokes Club’ as well as the psychogeography movement (situationalists) and builds on some of my walking projects with Jihea and Kayla, back in 2020, and Weather Together - current.
We aim to be inclusive for all bodies and genders. If you have questions about the route and surface, please reach out. Most of the participants will probably speak Dutch, but since some of my friends have a different nationality - I choose to create this introduction for now in English.
